Krier, Thompson join Noon Rotary

Zanesville Noon Rotary welcomed Chawntilley Krier and Ben Thompson as new members. Krier is a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and Zane State College. She is employed by Williamson Insurance.

Thompson is a graduate of Rosecrans High School and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is the president/CEO of Primary Aim LLC, operating five Wendy's Restaurants in the Zanesville area.

Freemasons to hold open house

On March 21, all 518 Ohio Masonic Lodges will open their doors for a public open house.

Frazeysburg Lodge 490, located at South State Street in Frazeysburg will hold its open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Anyone who would like to know more about Freemasonry or is just curious and would like a peek inside may attend. Members and their families are also invited to come share the day.

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest men's fraternity in the world. Thirteen signers of the Constitution and 14 presidents of the United States, including George Washington, were Freemasons. Today, there are more than 2 million Freemasons in North America alone, 110,000 0f which are Ohio Freemasons.
