I just want to say God Bless you.
I am a Freemason - soon to be an ex-Freemason.
I've been through the three degrees of the Blue Lodge. I've gone even further than that... I went through the Scottish Rite to obtain the 32° of Freemasonry. I was very proud of my membership in the fraternity in the short time I belonged, much to my current chagrin.
I have only been a member for a year. Before I joined, I was quite proud to be Catholic. Several years ago, I was even considering the priesthood before I left the Church for some time. I was quite bitter... not at the Church, but at myself, at my own sinfulness, and at my own pride. I joined Freemasonry knowing the Church's prohibition against the organization, and was familiar with your web page well before I was initiated into the first degree. I very much enjoyed being a Freemason. I made a lot of good friends and grew as a person due to my membership.
Yet, admittedly, something in my soul had been aching since that day I went through my very first initiation. I had certainly lapsed as a Catholic and had been deep in my sins well before I took that step, but something within masonry had been killing me spiritually and I certainly felt it.
Freemasonry is a subtle beast. The average person within its ranks has very little idea of the evil that lurks beneath its massive symbolism, but that evil is certainly there. Every aspect of masonry is cunningly designed to destroy men's souls by pulling them away from Christ. I was lucky - Christ Our Lord never allowed me to close my ears to individuals such as yourself whom spoke the truth of the organization. I am grateful for that beyond any words that I could possibly express.
Masonry, both directly and indirectly, is at the heart of all that is wrong with the world today. It breeds apathy to Christ and His Church. It is a doorway to evil spirits. When one goes through the degrees, one is divested of all metals, which especially includes holy sacramentals which might protect one from the demonic energies one comes into contact during the rituals. All prayer is directed to the "Grand Architect Of The Universe", whom assuredly is not the Christian God, for Christ is not to be acknowledged within the lodge as anything other than just a man. Christ is not mentioned lest the followers of other religions be offended, yet Masonic ritual refers explicitly to pagan gods whom ought to offend any faithful Christian. The nature of Masonry ought to be clear from this alone.
Freemasonry is the Luciferian religion shrouded in dark secrecy. Its subtleties are such that, unless one studies occult iconography apart from masonry, one cannot comprehend the totality of what is being taught. Freemasonry is the anti-Church and its spirit is most assuredly anti-Christ. Masons whom read this will certainly call me a bigot and accuse me of never being a Mason in the first place, but neither is true. It is not my fault that they never understood the essence of the "Craft" in the first place. I regret having a part in that "Craft" in the first place.
There is a far greater Brotherhood in the world than Masonry could ever hope to be. This is certainly a claim that most Masons would deny on its very face until I name it, after which they ought to be ashamed. The Brotherhood that is greater than Masonry is the Church of Jesus Christ, which no institution built by man or devil can possibly rival. Any Christian who requires a greater bond of fellowship than that which they gain through the grace of Christian baptism most certainly sells their Lord short, for He can bond men in a far greater manner through His Sacraments than any occult ritual could hope to do.
I am not expressing myself as fully as I wish I could, but it suffices to say that I regret having belonged to the Masonic Lodge despite any perceived good I might have gained through my membership. It profits us nothing to gain the world but to lose our souls.

God bless you! I, too was a mason, Raised in 1996. It took me several years to come to gather my wits, but i did with the help of God and my mother! To make a long story short, my question was... Why Blindfolded at the Alter? Isn't the bible supposed to be the one thing that everyone can turn to without a blind eye? And why do they Demonic Representation and Satanic Bible in their Library? This is a very brave post from you and congratulations. However. I want to suggest to you that there is an even greater brother hood than even the church of Christ, for Christ is a great consciousness in our minds that we ad here ourselves to and that is good. But greater than this brother hood and one which Christ would embrace or encourage us to embrace is the brother hood of mankind. One thing which evil uses against us is the method of divide and conquer us all. We are all brothers. If you want to test this theory out. Look at the pictures of crying fathers with his dead child in his hands in Iraq. Or the dying children in Africa. Or look at any one of the peoples around the world who are suffering at the hands of these nonsense devil religions. Tell me that in your heart you do not feel that those people are in essence, against evil generally, an ally, a brother, and a fellow human being and tell me that in that essential recognition, your Jesus Christ does not support this brotherhood and fellowship.
I am in the process of a divorce from a 33 degree Mason. I am a life long Catholic and my husband converted to Catholisism, but he has let the Freemasonry controll his life and I feel like I'm living with Lucifer himself. I never knew much about Masonry but I know that it has ruined our marriage. He was married to the Masons and never to me.

the Masonic is a "false religion" and all anyone with half a Spirit of God living in them, would have to do is read the "Ahiman Rezon" to realize the truth !!
It is not compatible with the Torah and it's teachings, nor the Holy Bible with the OT and NT.
A Master Mason is told that he has been "resurected" and is promised a life in eternity with god. There is only ONE WAY and His name is Yahushua, Christ Jesus.
Eph. 5:11 tells us to come out from the DARKNESS and EXPOSE those evil things!
John 18:20 -- "I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing." Throughout Scripture, we are told to imitate Jesus Christ, and let Him serve as our example. Thus, since Jesus Christ never, ever did anything in secret, we are not to do anything in secret, either. The true Christian walk is to be the utmost in transparency possible.
But, in Masonry, initiates are forced to take the most terrible oaths of secrecy, which we shall get to in a minute. First, let us examine Jesus' commands against taking any kind of oath. Notice that Jesus Christ personally forbade taking any kind of oath, based upon anything on earth, or in the heavens.
Matthew 5:34-46 -- "Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."
all of this is bogus. The christian bible is always present at all occassions. It is required that all masons put their families and jobs before their fraternity period.
I just want to comprehende, how a great minister, man of God, preaching the gospel, even casting out demons, teaching biblical principles, standing out against sin could easily get involved with freemasonry.Isn't it possible to see the dark side of freemason in advance?
Firstly, a one-year member cannot possibly understand the nature of the fraternity. I have been a member for four years and I still have questions that I get answered from several objective and subjective sources every day. Every time, even the worst average of answers is still better than I expected.
Secondly, to the divorcee: your ex-husband has a character flaw. Had he been a member of any club, he would have given himself to it to feel accepted.
Thirdly, if Christ commands we Christians to not take oaths, then why do so many clergymen and every married couple take vows?
Finally, if Freemasonry has a dark side, then most human beings are rational enough to decide for themselves. Please do not be so arrogant as to believe that you may save an intellectually evolved person. I find it personally insulting to get the same lecture from brand-new Christians (I have been a practicing Baptist my entire life) who get fleeced dry by a corporate Church of any denomination.
I am really interested in the free maisons & would love to join! I believe that religion is just as corrupt & hypocritical as any corporation or political party! I want to better myself for me & my family & be the best person I can be if anyone knows how to become a member of a London fraternity please post a blog, many thanks!

The Lord is unlimited in the things He can reveal. For years Freemasonry has been accused of/involved in scandals. One bad group can ruin the bunch. However when the same crimes (especially ones of satanic influence) infiltrates the organization at the highest levels, one has to question their allegiance. If you look at the massive amounts of independent sources that make strong cases that hold Freemasonry in coorboration with the Illuminati, any member involved should not have their hearts be hardened and ignore these strong and irrefutable ties.
And finally, I believe you have misinterpreted the scripture in regards to oaths. Christ told us not to make vows to men for we are not ourselves to do so. However we are to make oaths unto him (Matt 5:34-46). This is why we make pledges/oaths of chastity or marriage vows...it is a covenant between ourselves and God.

Greetings my fine peers of all,
i find this blog to be quiete refreshing in many ways! in that light, i would like to share respectfully! my thoughts pertaining to the subject at hand. i am a member of the a.f.&.a.m. and i am also a memeber of the scottish rite i.e. 32 degree!
i have been a mason for 6 years. before i took my obligation as a mason i was very duely and truely prepared! as i love to read natrualy.i informed my self by reading many works on the subject of freemasonry.
i found the subject to be very enlightening! and the motive behind the "ritual" teachings to be a very strong and impactful! a foundation upon wich a man could find wisdom, honor , truth , morals of a higher standerd, and share the like with like minded fellows!
sadly as i draft this on this fine blog i have made the personal choice to become inactive as a mason!
and i will tell you why!
firstly i am not a christian and in THE INNER LODGE AND AT ALL LODGE FUCNCTIONS all prayers are IN the name of JESUS CHRIST LORD AND SAVIOR?
i find this offenseive! i am not an anti christian or anti anything you see masonry is not a religion nor is to be "used" as one!
masonry is suposed to be open to all men of all faiths BY LEAVEING POLITICS AND RELIGION OUT OF THE LODGE AND ALL LODGE FUNCTIONS! however this is not the case i have come to find!
secondly it is christians and likeminded persons who are on a strange and twisted mission to destroy that in wich they know nothing about!
